Land forces: 3 100 people, 1 motorized infantry brigade (1 motorized infantry battalion), 1 reconnaissance battalion, 1 battalion headquarters, 1 artillery unit, 1 company of peace-making forces, 1 special forces group. The reserve: National Guard, 5 brigades (in each 5-7 battalions).

Arms: 3 tanks T-55, 13 infantry fighting vehicles M42 Pcsible, 2 BRDM-2, 26 100 mm towed guns K53, 37 82 and 120 mm mortars, 18 40 mm antiaircraft guns.

Air force: 210 people. Planes and helicopters: 2 An-2, L-410, 3 Mi-2, Mi-8.

Naval forces: 840 people (including 250 in coastguard). Fleet: 3 patrol vessels (Storm 2 pr. 205), 3 trawlers (2 pr. 89, 2 Lindau), 1 towboat, 1 diving boat. Coastal command: 1 battalion (2 companies).

Coastguard: 10 patrol boats.
