Land forces: 40 000 people, 10 battalions (7 infantry, 2 light tank, 1 special), 1 artillery battalion, 1 anti-aircraft artillery battalion, some detached infantry companies.

Arms: 117 armoured reconnaissance vehicles, 29 armored troop carriers, 18 towed howitzers D-30, 100 mortars M-43, 12 missile systems BM-21,15 75 mm recoilless guns, 150 anti-aircraft guns, 30 portable surface-to-air missile systems.

Wing: 200 people, 10 planes (of them 4 SF-260W, 2 DC-3), 5 helicopters (3 SA-316B, 2 Mi-8).
