Air Mobility

Air mobility aircraft move the military. The C-5, C-27, and C-141 transport materials and manpower around the world in times of peace and in times of conflict. The C-130 provides airlift, air refueling, special air missions and medical evacuation for military forces. Certainly, as global peacekeeping and humanitarian endeavors increase, air forces will rely more on air mobility - and these aircraft - to transport people and resources to where they are crucially needed.

Combat Aircraft

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company builds the finest combat aircraft in the world - from the proven and affordable fighter of today, the F-16, to the next-generation fighter of tomorrow, the F-22. The company is currently competing to build the multiservice, multimission Joint Strike Fighter of the future. These fighters were born of research and development efforts underscored by a relentless pursuit of new advances in technology and low-cost, innovative manufacturing methods.

The next generation of high-performance combat aircraft will continue to push the envelope farther - with design concepts that expand the definition of multirole aircraft and mission flexibility. They will revolutionize development of both manned and unmanned aircraft, with unique applications of modularity, using radically new airframes.
