Missions: Expert in air-land combat systems

Giat Industries masters all areas of air-land combat systems: command (terminal information systems), mobility (battle tanks, wheeled armoured vehicles, engineering equipment, etc.), fire (artillery systems, main tank armament, medium calibre weapons and associated ammunition systems, infantry) and support (support engineering, support system and operational readiness management of equipment).

Heir to more than three centuries of land armament, Giat Industries' mission is to meet the requirements of the French and other armies. Its activities also cover the air force, the navy and the police force to which the group supplies equipment of similar technologies.

In 2002, Giat Industries was awarded ISO 9001 certification - version 2000. This success is the recognition of the efforts made by the whole group within the framework of its reorganisation. Customer satisfaction is the driving force behind this continual improvement procedure.
